Rowena Pohlkotte - Bachelor - Theological Studies/Counseling, 2004 


Assumed a marketing role with Aidex Inc. (A Chicago Based Educational Resource Marketing Company), Rowena led the companies marketing efforts in Indiana, selling and implementing ACTION CODE, “Laser Disk Computer Delivered” training library for skill trade, and business task training programs produced by National Education Corporation.

 

Joining the Indiana Vocational Technical College System in Evansville, IN, Rowena sold customized Business and Industrial Training Programs in a three State Geography for two years, and then joined the field marketing staff of ICS-Intext, to market Multi-Craft Maintenance training in Kentucky and Tennessee markets. In this capacity, Rowena was responsible for Individualized Learning Planning for Maintenance, Multi-Craft, and Apprentice candidates, acquisition of the training materials, and Field Support/Service for more than 150 Sponsored Apprenticeship Programs.

 

Recipient of Continuing Education Certification as Instructors/Facilitators in the Adult Training Arena in titles including Leadership, Supervision, Train-The-Trainer, Team Training, Continuous Improvement, Cost of Quality, Progression and Sustainability Planning, and Implementing Succession Plans through Training.

 

Co Facilitator for Business and Industrial – Adult Training Initiatives for the past eight years. Rowena has assisted in Site administration of Quick Start Assessment Activities for a major textile client (most often assuming the most undesirable shift assignments.

 

As an Adjunct Resource in association with Northwestern Technical College, Rowena has co-facilitated (with Mel) Multi-Craft Training programs for Shaw Industries (Multiple Locations), Mohawk; Bull Moose Tube; Metro Boiler Services; SI Industries; Propex Fibers; Dunlap Industries, Dunlap, TN; Suburban Industries, Dayton, TN; focusing on Multi-Craft segments of Mechanical, Electrical, Programmable Control, Drives, and involving pre-assessment for placement, Curriculum Sequencing, Post testing, and Hands-on validation of skill mastery and application in facility and process specific environment.

Author of 19 Texts, 21,000 performance assessment questions for Industrial Trades Training (For International Correspondence Schools); 27 Curriculum Syllabi for Chattanooga State Engineering Technology Courses; and 31 Study Guides for Covington Theological Seminary courses foundational to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Studies.

 

Recipient of Continuing Education Certification as Instructors/Facilitators in the Adult Training Arena in titles including Hydraulics; Pneumatics; Robotics; Plc’s; Automated Manufacturing; and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (In the Mechanical, Electrical and Control Disciplines); as well as Performance Based Testing for Proof of Gain; and Leadership, Supervision, Team Training, Continuous Improvement, Cost of Quality, Progression and Sustainability Planning, and Managing Succession through Training.

Twenty-seven years of specializing in computer networking, security and database administration. Thirty-three years of experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical, Robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Multiple Adjunct faculty positions with Indiana Vocational College, Forsyth Technical Community College, Chattanooga State Technical Community College, and Northwestern Technical College since 1984.

As an Adjunct Faculty member have worked with such organizations as TVA, Planters Lifesavers, E.I. DuPont, RCA Music, Shaw Industries (Multiple Locations), Bull Moose Tube, General Motors, ALCOA, Accuride, Pepsico and Wachovia.
